Þokkadís & Þokki

Finally on saturday the 23rd of August early in the morning our last foal arrived. A big chestnut stallion, named Þokki. His father is Akkur frá Brautarholti. Akkur is highly judged with 9,5 for tölt as a fivegaiter and he is doing very well in competition. He was at the Landsmót this summer in 3rd position in the B-flokkur. To name something did he recieve the same notes as Eldjárn frá Tjarnarhólum. So it will be very interesting to see how this young stallion will develop. We have started the first off spring after Þokkadís under the saddle and this 4y. old mare is a real joy to ride.

Þokkadís will be covered by Álfur frá Selfossi. Álfur got 9,5 for tölt, temperament and looks under rider. 9 for trot and canter.

Klora

On the 11th of August a foal that I have been waiting for for a long time was born. Klóra finally gave birth to a little mare. After 3 stallions a little mare! The father of the mare is Akkur frá Brautarholti.

Klóra will be covered by Hróður frá Refsstöðum. Hróður won the Sleipnisaward at the last Landsmót. This is the highest award a stallion can get here, honoursaward for off spring and 1 place.

Fríða & Friður

On saturday the 13th of july Fríða gave birth to a little stallion. I was so happy that she gave us another beautiful foal. The father of Friður is Gammur frá Steinnesi.

Fríða is bred to Kiljan frá Steinnesi for next year!

Vænting

On sunday the 1st of june Vænting showed us a beautiful chestnut filly! The father of the filly is the stallion Kaspar frá Kommu (F. Gustur frá Hóli). Kaspar is a highly judged fourgaited stallion with judged with 8,28. 9,5 for trot, 9 for tölt, temperament and looks under rider.

Aska & Alvara

On sunday the 25th of may our fourth marefoal was born! We are incredibly happy with her! It Bordi was judged with 8,48 for riding. 9,5 for tölt and 9 for trot, canter, temperament and looks under rider. Overal score is 8,24. Bordi was only 4y. old when he was judged!

Aska will be covered by the stallion Gammur frá Steinnesi.

Ljósbrá

On the 24th of may Ljósbrá gave us a beautiful marefoal. Dark, dark chestnut with a beautyful star/blaze. She´s really cute! The father is Borði frá Fellskoti.  Bordi was judged with 8,48 for riding. 9,5 for tölt and 9 for trot, canter, temperament and looks under rider. Overal score is 8,24. Bordi was only 4y. old when he was judged!

Prinsessa & Passía

Early in the morning on the 12th of may I went to check on Prinsessa, but no foal... In the afternoon we had to pick upp a mare that is in the same group and guess what, a wunderful surprise, a blackpintomare! It couldn´t be better, we are very happy with this girl. The father of the mare is the son of Orri named Þristur frá Feti. He is judged with 9 for tölt, trot, temperament and looks under rider. Average of 8,27 as a fourgaited stallion.

Prinsessa will be covered by Kjerúlf frá Kollaleiru.  Kjerúlf has a very interesting pedigree. His mother is an off spring of the famous Laufi frá Kollaleiru. Kjerúlf got 9,5 for trot and temperament. 9 for tölt, slow tölt and looks under rider. He is only 5y. old.

Varpa & Vigur

Varpa got a beautiful marefoal on saturday the 10th of may. The foal was born in a snowy night and pretty cold when I came to her. But after a little care and a blanket for a short time she started to drink and in no time she was dancing around. The father of this marefoal is the stallion Geisli frá Sælukoti. Geisli is the only stallion who managed to win two times the fivegaited competition on the Landsmót. He is judged with 8,57 for riding and 8,28 as an overal score. 9 for trot, pace and temperament.  

Varpa will be covered by Gári frá Auðsholtshjáleigu. Gári recieved 8,87 for building and overal score is 8,63. Varpa is a fourgaited mare with first prize for building and 8,5 for tölt.
