At home we have started planting trees many, many years ago. We have tried to make this area more accesable. This area is great for just a short walk. You can go from our little forrest to the river, passing a little lake. In this lake are in spring and summertime many birds. Duck, swans, goose. If you are interested in birds it is nice to take a look at www.fuglar.is . Here you see all birds who have ever been seen at Iceland.

The last two years we have also seen an eagle flying through our valley.
